I like having the digital camera on my smart phone...
But I also like having a dedicated camera for when I want to take real pictures.
The future is mobile computing - smartphones and tablets are just elements of it.
The industry is on the verge of a whole new paradigm.
I love the Internet, and I love that you can say whatever you want.
In fact, technology has been the story of human progress from as long back as we know. In 100 years people will look back on the now and say, "That was the Internet Age."
And computers will be seen as a mere ingredient to the Internet Age.
Our printing press is the Internet.
Our coffee houses are social networks.
People say that this new generation is so used to the Internet that their heads are already different. That they can't read a book from beginning to end.
THAT is NOT a TRAGEDY!
The book changes form.
The Internet is probably the most important technological advancement of my lifetime. It's strength lies in it's open architecture and it's ability to allow a framework where all voices can be heard.
They don't call it the "Internet" anymore, they call it "cloud computing". I'm no longer resisting the name. Call it what you want.
